The Intercessory Work of Christ

Does Jesus spend all His time preparing mansions for the redeemed? This is one of His important tasks (John 14 :2, "In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."). In addition to this, Jesus is actively engaged in the ministry of intercession (Hebrews 7:25, "Seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them.").
